Herman Miller Upholstered Shell Arm Chair - Charles Eames design

The real deal. A Charles Eames-designed shell armchair by Herman Miller, on an aluminum swivel base on casters.

Excellent structural condition. No chips or cracks. Rubber trim edge in good condition. Original fabric (perhaps Alexander Girard?) shows signs of wear.

Signed Herman Miller, and the Herman Miller label is still present.

I love great design in all its shapes, sizes, forms, and uses. And I revel in finding great design, whether it be designer pieces, or nameless - but incredible - design specimens.

While Gotcha Modern! generally gravitates toward mid century pieces (1940s-70s), our inventory is nothing if not eclectic! Don't be surprised to find furniture and decorative items from throughout the 20th century, as great and interesting design transcends time period.

I scour the urban jungle and rural wilds for furnishings that will make you happy, put a skip in your step, and brighten your day...every day. Isn't that what good design - and life - should be about?
